Our History & Mission
Founded in 1993, JDL Electric is a Commercial Electrical Contractor specializing in new construction and renovations, catering to General Contractors, Design/Build Contractors, Property Management Firms and their tenants, in the Baltimore Metropolitan area. The two cofounders, Tim Harford and Joe Donohue, both Master Electricians, desired to offer their superior talent, work ethic, and craftsmanship to businesses in their hometown, Baltimore. The company has grown and specialized over the past nearly 25 years, to be the Electrical Contracting Company hundreds of businesses rely on time and again to create dramatic, energy efficient, reliable, and distinctive indoor and outdoor electrical solutions.
